Oakland makes a big move and passes up WR Michael Crabtree for WR Darrius Heyward-Bey.

Good to see you on cheesy-maggot. Will it was obvious that Oakland needed a WR. But with 3 young premier talents, I think they can begin to develop a good offense, and I feel it was smart to take Heyward-Bey, I think it will pay off.

Exactly. Crabtree is a diva in the making and did not want to wear the silver and black.

The argument has been made it is bad value to take DHB in the top 10, but after the Jets got Mark Sanchez at 5, no one was going up into the top 10. So, the Raiders took their guy, and I think it will work out for them because he will fit right into the offense that the Raiders use, stretch the field with JaMarcus' cannon and with Darrius' ability to seperate, #2 to #12 may be a reocurring theme in 2009.

You look at his college numbers, they aren't that impressive. This is entirely to blame on Maryland's QB play, and not on DHB himself. His physical skills and ability to go up and get balls is undeniable. I believe he will be a stud no. 1 receiver in the league for many years to come. Maybe it's just because I can't stand another losing season for my Raiders.

I think Oakland has lots of potential this year with their Big 3 young talents. I think they can make it up to 2nd place in their division, but have to work hard, We shall see.

Darrius Heyward-Bey has a decent camp, but didn't stand out. He also dropped a few passes, not too worried but still, I'm not holding my breath on him. I am hopeful though.

Well I've been let down by the Raiders for a long time too, but damn, I don't know. Yeah that whole thing, Crabtree is a diva thing always comes up. But come on, he kind of has the right to be, with what he's done. Look at some of the great athletes that have come in and tell me they haven't been divas. I mean, the Raiders probably saw Darrius and he improved, or like him or something. M. Crabtree looks better on paper, but then again, you can't always rely on that. Matthew Stafford and Mark Sanchez are kind of the same thing. Stafford looked better on paper, but many think that Sanchez will end up doing better because of something that he is not there on paper. He has the "IT" factor. Hopefully, the same thing is with Darrius and he really helps the Raiders. I mean, he did have the top speed of all the receivers, they kind of need speed with Jamarcus Russel's really really strong arm. Come on Raiders, please don't let me down this season too.

Yup. They gotta get back to being the team that everyone hates to play, and shut up all them Raider Haters. And the most annoying thing is that for the past couple of seasons there were so many games that they could have won but they just let slip.
