As we all know, the Anaheim Ducks got eliminated along with the Vancouver Canucks, Washington Capitols, and Boston Bruins.

The Conferance Finals have begun!

The 4 teams going to the conferance finals will be the Detroit Red Wings, Carolina Hurricans, Chicago Blackhawks, and Pittsburgh Penguins.

1st game : 5/17/2009 Chicago Blackhawks vs Detroit Redwings

5/18/2009 Carolina Hurricanes vs Pittsburgh Penguins

What are your honest opinions on the outcome of this exciting final?!

I don't know much but I do know that I'm rooting for Detroit now that the Ducks got eliminated.

This is really hard to choose but I will have to go with Detroit Red Wings. They've shown that they have worked extremely hard this season. They are showing that they are top scores, they are great defenders and have a great goalie. I believe it will be Detroit Red Wings vs Pittsburgh Penguins in the Finals. I don't know who will win the final yet. After this conference final, it will be much easier to give an opinion.

I am rooting for Detroit. I like the Ducks, and hopefully the Ducks lost to the champions-to be. But also, it was said by many that the winner of the Red Wings-Ducks series would be the favorite to win. So I'm predicting that the Wings will win both Conference and the Stanley Cup.
