So the match-ups are:
Western Conference:
#1 L.A. Lakers vs #5 Houston Rockets
#2 Denver Nuggets vs #7 Dallas Mavericks

Eastern Conference:
#1 Cleveland Cavaliers vs #4 Atlanta Hawks
#2 Boston Celtics vs #3 Orlando Magic.

Who are your guys' picks to win their series? My picks are:
#1 L.A Lakers in 6(4-2), #2 Denver Nuggets in 5(4-1), #1 Cleveland Cavaliers in 7(4-3), and #3 Orlando Magic in 6(4-2).

I think the Lakers are just too much for Houston. They won't dominate Houston completely, but there will be a difference in the level of play. I think Lakers are gonna win 3 at home and lose 1 at home, and win 1 on the road, and the Rockets 1 at home and 1 away.

The Nuggets are coming off a dominating performance against the Hornets, and I think they will win 3 at home and 1 at Dallas, with Dallas taking 1 at home.

Right now, the Celtics are not what they were last year without KG. If Dwight Howard can dominate the paint, there is no one on the Celtics side that can stop him, so Howard is the big factor if Orlando is to advance, which I believe they will.

And last but not least, believe it or not, I think the Hawks will put up a great fight against the Cavaliers. They just came from winning against Miami in game 7 and I think they have the momentum, plus they have a very athletic team. If the Hawks are at their best, I think they can take it to a game 7, but in the end, the Cavaliers will end up winning.

Hay thank you Mr. Dark haha. I think the Lakers will take the Cavaliers in the Finals, cuz I do believe they will both win their Conference. But, we'll leave that discussion for the future haha.

I think the Conference Finals for both the West and East are going to be some crazy good games. I am really looking forward to it this year. In past years its really been the Western Conference to watch in the playoffs, but this year I think its very even in both conferences and the Celtics/Bulls first round series is only a taste of what is to come in these playoffs.

I think the 2009 Playoffs all together will be one of the best to remember when it is all said and done.

I agree with you Admin. I just love how the Bulls surprised everyone. It's series like that, that make the playoffs good to watch. And I'm looking forward to all the match-ups in the 2nd round. They all seem really interesting. And of course, GO LAKERS!!!
